I see education as a tool for empowerment
I discovered my passion for teaching when I was six years old when I taught Elena, a middle-aged woman who worked at my house, the basics of writing and reading. Since then, I have known that teaching is my calling.
I love thinking about problems from different perspectives
I have taken courses from diverse departments, including Engineering Management, Nursing, Public Health and Sociology. At the University of Alberta, I have been a teaching assistant for undergraduate and graduate courses in the Engineering Management and Sociology departments and a Teaching Fellow at the Peter Lougheed Leadership College
I am passionate about teaching and quality management
I combined my two passions by teaching an undergraduate quality management course in a Peruvian engineering university and by training laboratory operators of a manufacturing company on the use of quality tools.
